Ranchi : A massive fire broke out in shops located at Namkum Bazaar Chowk in Namkum police station area of the district at around 3 o’clock on Monday night. After a fire broke out in one shop, the fire engulfed three shops.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and informed the fire department. After this, fire-fighters of the fire department reached there and controlled the fire.
The shops that caught fire included Poonam Devi’s puja items and cloth washing shop, Shankar Rajak’s fruit and puja items shop and Satendra Yadav’s pan petrol, diesel and general store shops. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
