Fire broke out in Barwadda agricultural market, eight vehicles burnt. Fighting between two parties in Topchanchi

Dhanbad : There was chaos due to the fire incident in Barwadda agricultural market premises on Sunday afternoon. Eight vehicles kept there were burnt to ashes due to the fire. Barwada police used to keep the seized vehicles here. The fire started in these vehicles only.

It is being told that bushes had grown where the vehicles were kept, for some reason these bushes caught fire and the vehicles started burning. The fire department was informed about the fire. After which several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and after a lot of effort the fire was brought under control.

A case of assault came to light in Topchanchi police station on Sunday. The incident took place in Ramakunda Panchayat under Topchanchi police station area. A dispute started over the bull entering the field and the matter reached the point of fighting.

Regarding the incident, injured Om Prakash Kumhar said that the matter escalated due to the bull entering the field. Four members of the family got injured during the fight. The injured are being treated at the Community Health Centre, Sahobahiyar.

He said that a complaint was made about the incident at Topchanchi police station. After which on Sunday the police of Topchanchi police station reached Ramkunda and explained to both the families. But on Sunday afternoon, people from the other side started fighting with sticks, iron rods, bricks and stones.

There were injuries on the head and other places during the incident. He said that the other party took away the money and gold ornaments kept in the house. After the incident, the victim’s family has given a written complaint to the police station, pleading for justice.
