Ranchi: On Saturday the state police collected a fine worth more than Rs 5.52 lakh across the 24 districts of Jharkhand for instances of lockdown violation and not wearing masks in public.
As per the data provided by the police headquarters across the state on Saturday 788 instances of lockdown violation was reported during which a fine worth more than Rs 3.33 lakh was collected.
During the day a total of 3095 instances of people without wearing masks in public places was reported through which a fine worth more than Rs 2.13 lakh was collected.
A maximum fine of Rs 95,000 was collected from the Ranchi district. In the day a total of 2 FIRs were registered for violation of the guidelines with 1 each being in Garhwa and Khunti.
However, no arrests were made across the state for violation.
