Fake notes are available at half price in Bengal: Interstate business of fake notes in Palamu, four arrested with 58 counterfeit notes of 500

Palamau: Palamu police has recovered fake currency from the city police station area. Four criminals have been arrested in connection with the recovery of fake notes of five hundred rupees. In which Vimlesh Kumar (38), Sandeep Kumar Paswan (38), resident of Mohammadganj, Raju Ranjan alias Mukesh Dubey (35), resident of Kandu Mohalla of the city and Ramnaresh Singh (55) near the electricity office are included. 

The city police station had received information that the gang members involved in the business of fake currency were going to gather in the city. On this information, a police team was formed. The four criminals were caught while dealing in fake notes from under the overbridge in Railway Station Road. 

Fake notes worth Rs 29 thousand were recovered from them. Investigation of 58 notes of 500 rupees was done by the police in the court branch of State Bank of India. The bank declared all the notes to be fake. The arrested criminals have told during interrogation that the business of fake notes is being done at the interstate level in Palamu. Whose wires are connected to West Bengal and Bihar. The notes are sourced from Malda in Bengal.

Fake notes are available there at half the price. Smugglers provide notes worth one lakh rupees for 50 thousand rupees. It is also sent to Bihar. Till now, information has been taken about where and how much fake notes have been circulated in the district.

City police station in-charge Inspector Abhay Kumar Sinha said that the police investigation is going on based on the information received from the criminals. Police will go to Bengal and investigate the matter.
