Bokaro: Ravish Sharma, COO of ESL Steel Limited, a Vedanta Group company and a major national steel player, attended the 5th Edition CII Manufacturing Conclave 2022 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, on the theme “The Future of Manufacturing.” The main goal of the event was to assist MSME in the development and promotion of manufacturing trends.
This forum attracted 50- 60 companies and more than 120 delegates. The conclave deliberated on manufacturing best practices and discussed the latest industry trends to enable manufacturing excellence, with topics such as “Driving the Future of Manufacturing with Industrial of Things,” “Robots & Cobots: Human-Machine Partnership and Work of the Future,” and “Advance in 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Technology”.
Speaking at the 5th Edition CII Manufacturing Conclave 2022, ESL Chief Operating Officer, Ravish Sharma stated, that the current state of handholding start-ups will serve as a foundation for manufacturing’s future. Manufacturing will evolve from isolated automated cells to fully integrated, automated facilities that communicate with one another increasing flexibility, speed, productivity, and quality. The importance of preparing the country’s youths for the future of manufacturing should be emphasised, as it will serve as a foundation.
