Ranchi: Hundreds of employees of Panchayat Secretariat Swayamsevak Sangh demonstrated naked in front of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Office in Ranchi on Tuesday.
A large number of police were deployed in front of the JMM office and barricading was done in front of the office.
The indefinite protest demonstration of the State Level Panchayat Secretariat Swayamsevak Sangh is going on in front of the Raj Bhavan for the last 123 days regarding their five-point demands.
The union employees said that they also celebrated festivals like Durga Puja without money.

Five point demands of the Sangh:
- Honorarium should be given to Panchayat Secretariat volunteers.
- Service of Panchayat Secretariat volunteer should be made permanent.
- The name of Panchayat Secretariat volunteer should be changed to Panchayat Assistant.
- Panchayat Secretariat volunteer members should be accommodated in the Panchayati Raj Department.
