Ranchi: At Rabi Kumar, Chief Electoral Officer initiative and instructions one-day workshop related to election matters was organized for the training of 6 trainee officers of the Indian Administrative Service 2022 batch.
During this one-day training session organized in the auditorium located at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, the trainee officials were given theoretical training on various topics related to elections. At the beginning of this workshop, Chief Electoral Officer Shri K. Ravi Kumar told all the trainee IAS officers about the importance of election work and explained in detail about the expectations from the public administrators by the Election Commission of India regarding efficient management of election work.
Addressing the programme, Shri K Ravi Kumar not only shared his administrative experience among the trainee officers but also wished them all the best for better election management in the future. In this election training workshop, the election-related activities about which the trainee officials were made aware through PPT included Special Brief Revision Program 2024, Electronic Voter List, Polling Station, Sweep, Election Literacy Club, District Election Management Plan, Vulnerability Mapping, ERO Net, IT tools etc. are included.
Apart from this, he was also given detailed information about Voter Turnout Plan 2024. The trainee IAS officers who took training in this training workshop are Ms. Shruti Rajlakshmi, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Ms. Deepesh Kumari, Ms. Pranjal, Mr. Krishnakant Kanwaria and Ms. Sulochana Meena.
In the workshop, OSD of Chief Electoral Officer’s office Mrs. Geeta Choubey, Under Secretary Mr. Devdas Dutta, Deputy Electoral Officer Headquarters Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Electoral Officer Dhanbad Mrs. Purnima Kumari, Executive Magistrate Hazaribagh Mr. Sunil Kumar Singh, NLMT Mr. S.N. Jameel etc. were present.
This is probably the first time that such special workshop training for trainee IAS officers has been organized by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer.
