Ranchi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has requested the Jharkhand High Court to get the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigated in the case registered against its officials and media persons under the SC and ST Act.
In fact, on January 31, a few hours before the arrest by the ED, an FIR was lodged by the then CM of Jharkhand against the ED officers and media persons in the SC, ST police station of Ranchi. Which is currently being investigated by Ranchi Police.
Ranchi Police had sent a notice under CrPC-41A to ED officials including ED Assistant Director Kapil Raj, Assistant Director Devvrat Jha, Anupam Kumar and another officer and called them to the police station for questioning. However, the Jharkhand High Court had stayed the notice.
