Ranchi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will interrogate Sahebganj DC Ramniwas Yadav on Friday. Earlier on January 11, ED had asked Ramniwas Yadav to appear for questioning. Although he did not appear before the ED. After which, on Wednesday, ED sent a second summons and called the DC for questioning on January 19.
On January 3, ED had simultaneously raided Sahibganj DC’s residence, office and his residence in Rajasthan. During the raid, along with Rs 8 lakh received as bribe, 21 cartridges of 9 mm pistol were also recovered from Sahibganj DC Ramniwas Yadav.
ED has found in its investigation that DC Ramniwas Yadav never withdrew money from his salary account after posting in Sahibganj. ED will interrogate him regarding this entire matter.
