Ranchi: Minister Alamgir Alam, accused of money laundering related to the tender scam, was presented in the special court of Ranchi PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) on Thursday amid tight security.
After presenting him in the court, ED’s special public prosecutor Shiv Kumar alias Kaka sought permission to interrogate Alamgir Alam by taking him on remand for 10 days.
Which was opposed by Alamgir Alam’s advocate.
After this the court approved the remand for six days.
For security reasons, additional security forces have been deputed in the court.
After the appearance, Alamgir Alam was taken back to the ED office.
