Ranchi: The ED team took the then revenue sub-inspector of Baragai zone, Bhanu Pratap, with them and reached that land in Bariyatu.
This 8.5 acres of land is the same which was said to be in the possession of Hemant Soren.
ED’s investigation so far has revealed that Bhanu Pratap has helped Hemant Soren in illegally acquiring property including 8.5 acres of land in Bariyatu.
There may be many more important revelations in the interrogation.
ED has arrested the Revenue Inspector (Light Employees) of Badagain, Bhanu Pratap Prasad.
He is accused of tampering with the government land records and tampering with the original records.
Bhanu Pratap is already in jail in a case related to a land scam and now he has been arrested in the case in which ED has arrested former Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
