In the ED’s investigation it has been revealed that Sahebganj’s mining businessmen Tinkle and Bhagwan Bhagat, who were arrested by the ED on Friday, have sent large consignments of stones to Bihar and Bengal by doing illegal mining in Sahebganj.
He had got a mining lease from the government in an area of about 13 acres in Patna area, but he extracted stones from more than 21 acres of area. To continue this illegal mining, both the accused gave about Rs 45 lakh in cash to Pankaj Mishra. Not only this, in the investigation so far, it has also come to light that Bhagwan Bhagat had booked 20 racks in the name of Pankaj Mishra. So that stone chips can be supplied.
A transaction of more than Rs 2 crore 90 lakh has also taken place between Pankaj Mishra and Bhagwan Bhagat during the period from 29 October 2021 to 18 May 2022. During the investigation of the money laundering case, ED has arrested Sahebganj’s mining businessmen Tinkle and Bhagwan Bhagat on Friday. Those who were presented in the court on Saturday. After getting permission from the court, the agency will interrogate both of them. Many important revelations are expected in this inquiry.
