District administration to make youth aware by running a campaign against drugs in Ranchi

Ranchi:  A meeting to run the campaign against drugs was held in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police (City) Ranchi Rajkumar Mehta and Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) Ranchi Utkarsh Kumar.

In this meeting, a strategy was made to make the youth aware by running a big campaign against drugs in Ranchi.

Superintendent of Police (City) Ranchi Rajkumar Mehta said in the meeting that according to the guidelines received by the district administration and police administration from the state government to make Ranchi district drug free, what should be done to make Ranchi district drug free?

A strategy can be made, instructions have been given to the concerned officers regarding this.

Under our strategy, work will be done to involve the principals of schools/colleges/big educational institutions (government and private) of Ranchi district in this campaign.

In this, CIP Ranchi/RIMS/self-help groups/intellectual class/many street theatre performers will be included and a massive campaign will be conducted in Ranchi.

Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) Ranchi Utkarsh Kumar said in the meeting that drugs are a big problem among students and youth, which is ruining the young generation.

It is ruining the youth emotionally, socially and economically like cancer.

In this regard, a big awareness campaign will be run involving all the stakeholders, in which the help of experts will be taken regarding the ill effects of drug addiction.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (HQ-1) Amar Kumar Pandey, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Main-2) Arvind were present in the meeting.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Kotwali Prakash Soy, District Education Superintendent Mithlesh Kumar, and District Education Officer Vinay Kumar were present.
