District administration inspected various Sarna sites regarding Sarhul festival

Ranchi: Regarding Sarhul festival, the district administration inspected various Sarna places of the city. During this period, many instructions were given to the concerned officials. Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Rajeshwar Nath Alok has asked the officials to hold a meeting with all the DJ operators to ensure that there is no noise pollution and to ensure compliance with the Loudspeaker Act. An order has also been given to take action against them for violation.

During the inspection, apart from Rajeshwar Nath Alok, Additional Administrator Ranchi Municipal Corporation Saurabh Prasad, Deputy Superintendent of Police K. V Raman, Assistant Administrator of Ranchi Municipal Corporation Niharika Tirkey, Suraj Prakash Chaudhary, Deputy Collector District Nazarat, other concerned police and administrative officers were present.

During the inspection, the administration team reached the Sarna site located at Sirmtoli, Sarna Toli and Hatma and talked to the Sarna committees about better arrangements. During this, the committee suggested the Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) to improve the leveling of Sarna sites, lighting, roads, water supply, mobile toilets and other arrangements. The concerned officials have prepared a blueprint (plan) for providing facilities at Sarna sites. Therefore, instructions have been given to the concerned officials to coordinate with the Sarna committees and provide first class arrangements at the Sarna sites.

Rajeshwar Nath Alok said that the district administration will make efforts to ensure that all preparations for Sarhul festival are completed on time with mutual coordination. The devotees who came to Sarna places could easily go to their homes after worshiping. Special care will be taken to ensure that no devotee faces any problem in commuting. He said that the Municipal Corporation is making arrangements for car parking outside the Sarna sites.

Rajeshwar Nath Alok said that the district administration has held a meeting with all the Sarna committees in view of the Sarhul festival. He said that an adequate number of police forces will be deployed at all Sarna sites from security point of view. Besides, CCTV cameras will also be installed as per requirement. At the same time, surveillance will also be maintained through drone cameras, so that anti-social elements do not spoil the social harmony. The route will also be diverted to ensure that traffic is not disrupted.
