Dispose of pending cases within 7 days or face strict action: DC

Ranchi: A crucial meeting was held today at the Collectorate under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantree, involving circle inspectors and revenue sub-inspectors. During the meeting, the DC issued clear instructions that all pending matters—including mutation, caste and residential certificates, land demarcation, and order generation—must be resolved within seven days.

He emphasized that citizens should not have to visit government offices repeatedly to get their work done. To ensure this, he called for not only speeding up processes but also maintaining the quality of service delivery.

The DC also issued strict warnings regarding the presence of touts and middlemen in government offices. All block development officers and circle officers were directed to ensure that no intermediaries are seen operating in their offices. If such individuals are found, immediate action must be taken.

The administration has urged the public to report the presence of touts in any government office by calling the Abua Sathi helpline at 9430328080. The identity of the complainant will be kept strictly confidential. DC Bhajantree reiterated that transparency and accountability are top priorities for the administration, and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
