Dhanbad SSP ordered to be present physically in High Court, hearing on July 21

Ranchi: In a contempt case related to a land dispute in village Sabalpur of Dhanbad, the Jharkhand High Court has directed the Dhanbad SSP to be present physically in the court on July 21.

The court of Justice Anand Sen of the High Court has asked SSP Dhanbad to appear and tell what is the status of the investigation by Saraidhela police station in case number 10/2020 registered in this case. Circle Officer, Dhanbad Prashant Kumar Layak has also been made accused in this case.

The petitioner Dilip Kumar Agarwal had 16 katthas of land in village Sabalpur, Dhanbad, for which he had also got the boundary wall done. Bhuvneshwar Yadav, owner of Sahayak Property Private Limited broke this boundary wall and forcibly acquired the land. In this, the involvement of Circle Officer, Dhanbad Prashant Kumar Layak has also been also found.

Regarding which case number 10/2020 was registered in Saraidhela police station on January 15, 2020 whose investigation was pending. Dilip Kumar Agarwal had filed a writ petition in the High Court against the possession of the land. On which the single bench of the High Court had directed the SSP Dhanbad and Saraidhela Office Incharge on 7 October 2020 to complete the investigation soon.

Due to non-compliance of this order of the court, the applicant had filed a contempt petition in the High Court which was heard in the High Court on Friday. The court fixed July 21 for the next hearing of the case.
