DGP visits Palamu says Maoists are in despair following killing of three big ultras

Daltonganj, Apr 14: State’s DGP D K Pandey said that the Maoists were
in a state of despair after the killing of their three big associates
and were executing criminal like incidents to avenge their frustration.
The DGP visited the Pipra Police Station area located on the borders
of Jharkhand and Bihar were on Thursday night the ultras of the CPI
(Maoists) had set on fire tractors and other equipments. During the
visit the DGP also interacted with the children.
DGP D K Pandey and Palamu SP Inderjeet Mahtha reached the Pipra block
headquarters via helicopter and assured the villagers present that all
efforts would be made to make the area free of the Maoists. He said
that in the war of supremacy the three Maoists were killed in
Hussainbad after which the Maoists are frustrated and were trying to
create fear among the people, however their intentions would not be
allowed to be successful. The DGP also assured the cooperation of the
police in all the developmental projects and schemes in the area.
Palamu SP Inderjeet Mahtah said that if the children of the area would
be educated than they would not strawl away from the main walk of life
when they turn youngsters. He said that police would also launch
various schemes for the education of the youth. He said that Palamu
police was committed to remove the Maoists from its soil.
On Thursday night in Pithora village of Pipra Police Station area the
Maoists had set on fire 11 tractors, a JCB and a motorcycle involved
in a road construction project in the area and had also manhandled the
employees.
