Ranchi: DGP MV Rao on Tuesday unveiled the new dress code for the Jharkhand CID which would be now worne by the officials and staff of the department.
The new dress code has a blue jacket. On the front portion in the pocket the logo of Jharkhand police has been place while in the Jharkhand CID has been written.
The main purpose behind introducing the dress code is to add help the psychological thoughts process and inculcate professional in cracking the cases while on the other it would also enable the CID to easily execute their work.
The CID is investigating various high profile cases in the state and an attempt is being made to develop the investigation process on the lines of the CBI. It would be compulsory for the officer and other personnel of CID to wear the new uniform while conducting raids, search or arrest and even in investigating the cases. It will also make easier for the people to understand that CID is investigating the case.
