DGP directs to curb illegal mining and banned drugs with immediate effects

Ranchi: Jharkhand Director General of Police (DGP) Ajay Kumar Singh along with Senior Police Officials held a meeting with the Superintendent of Police and other senior police officials at the Police Headquarters in Ranchi on Monday.

In the meeting, it was discussed on the following issues like Law and Order, Kurki attachment, Investigation of incident sites, Crime Control, Illegal Mining, Banned Narcotics and Drugs, and role of Police.

In the meeting, the Investigation Department of Jharkhand presented a report on pending warrants, Kurki Attachment, Pocso Act, Illegal Liquor, Illegal Mining, and Schedule Caste/Scheduled Tribe Injustice Act.

DGP and Senior Police Officials gave instructions to solve all the cases including pending warrants and Kurki Attachment, Fugitive Criminals. They said to solve all the pending cases of Rape of Women, Pocso and Women’s Harrassment, and Witchcraft in rural areas.

Police officials stressed the need for awareness Campaigns in rural areas. In a meeting, it was decided to constitute a task force and start a raid against those who cultivate Opium under the NDPS Act. Roadmap designed to destroy Opium Cultivation, illegal selling of liquor and seizure of drugs. In the meeting, it was also decided to stop Cyber Crime in Society.

The toll-free number 1930 is now available to make a complaint against Cyber Criminals. To make and execute rules including law and Order Situations Upcoming Shravan Mela and festivals. In the meeting it was discussed to make new police stations, Barracks, Police Picket, TOP construction and repair of Buildings was listed.

In this meeting Additional Director General Anurag Gupta, Murari Lal Meena, Sanjay Anand Rao Lathkar, T Kandasami, IG Railway Jharkhand Akhilesh Jha, Human Rights Official Prabhat Kumar, IG Provision Assem Vikrant Minz, IPS Kartik, Surendra Jha and many other police officials were present.
