Ranchi: DC Chhavi Ranjan has ordered testing of coronavirus at all the railway stations and Bus stands of the state capital.
Chairing an important meeting over covid-19 at the collectorate here he directed that teams should be deployed for conducting the covid test at Ranchi and Hatia railway stations apart from that teams should we also deputed at ITI bus stand and Khadgada bus stand. He said that at these places through use of mikes people should be informed about the tests.
He said that whatever cases are being detected special focus should be accorded on their contact tracing. He directed the DSP City to submit the everyday report in this regard. He said that during contact tracing it is important to find out details related to travel history undertaken in the last one month and instructed officials to prepare a report of contact testing date-wise.
The DC instructed all the private labs to verify the mobile number of the people who turn up to get their covid test done and details related to the complete address is also important.
During the meeting, the officials were also instructed to take necessary action against the concerned people or business establishments who are caught violating the coronavirus guidelines and action against them should be taken as per the necessary sections of the disaster management act and IPC. Further, he directed to hold a meeting with the private hospitals and collect information regarding the number of beds for covid patients.
