DC directs officials to expedite land, forest and NOC-related cases

Ramgarh: In a review meeting at Chhatar Mandu’s collectorate auditorium, DC Faiz Ahmad Mumtaz convened district and subdivision-level officials to discuss pending cases related to land, forest, land acquisition compensation, and no-objection certificates (NOC). District Forest Officer Nitish Kumar and Additional Collector Kumari Geetanjali, along with other land-related officers, attended the session.

During the meeting, the DC emphasized that delays in resolving land acquisition or NOC cases hinder district development and affect projects, including national highway construction and corporate development. He instructed subdivision officers to clear compensation for land acquired by affected companies, national highways, and displaced persons as quickly as possible. Any technical or administrative issues must be promptly reported to the district administration. Railway project-related issues were also reviewed, with the DC identifying bottlenecks and holding responsible officials accountable.

As part of reviewing projects under Bharatmala, National Highway 33, railways, and other road construction schemes, the DC sought updates on package-wise compensation payments and instructed officials to accelerate ongoing work. Subdivision officers were directed to complete compensation disbursement, organize gram sabhas where required, and finalize related procedures.

Officials from CCL, road construction departments, PVUNL, and other projects presented updates on their activities. The DC reviewed pending cases involving FRA, NOCs, and land acquisition, giving clear instructions for immediate action to ensure timely execution.

Attendees included Additional Development Commissioner Ashish Agrawal, DFO Nitish Kumar, Additional Collector Kumari Geetanjali, Sub-Divisional Officer Anurag Kumar Tiwari, Land Reforms Deputy Collector Deepti Priyanka Kujur, Civil Surgeon Dr. Mahalakshmi, District Land Acquisition Officer Vijendra Kumar, Sub-Inspector Siddharth Shankar Chaudhary, District Government Advocate Sanjeev Prasad Ambast, project managers, and other district- and subdivision-level officials including Ramesh Kumar, Kishori Yadav, and Tripti Bij Kujur.
