Ranchi: Ranchi Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Manjunath Bhajantri, carried out a surprise inspection of the Namkum block office. The inspection was attended by District Public Relations Officer Urvashi Pandey, Block Development Officer Namkum Vijay Kumar, and Block Officer Namkum Kamal Kishore Singh.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the attendance register and issued strict instructions to the staff. He emphasized that all employees must address citizens’ issues seriously and take prompt, effective steps to resolve them. He underlined that it is the responsibility of all staff to ensure that citizens face no inconvenience.
Employees were reminded to arrive on time and perform their duties with full dedication and transparency. Bhajantri warned that any staff found involved in corruption would face strict action following verification.
The Deputy Commissioner engaged with citizens present at the office, carefully listening to their grievances. Some issues were resolved on the spot, while others were directed for follow-up action.
Bhajantri stressed that all visitors should be treated respectfully and that complaints must be resolved promptly. The surprise inspection aimed to strengthen transparency, accountability, and citizen-focused administration in the block office.
