Ranchi: A meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha regarding the preparations for the Republic Day celebrations at Morhabadi ground.
Deputy Development Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Incharge Superintendent of Police, City Co-in charge Superintendent of Police Traffic Naushad Alam, Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar Deepak Dubey, Sub- Divisional Officer, Bundu Ajay Kumar, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) along with concerned police and administrative officials were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner discussed the preparation and successful conduct of the Republic Day celebrations and gave necessary guidelines to the officials concerned.
While discussing the preparations for the Republic Day celebrations at Morhabadi Maidan, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer Building Division-1 to arrange waterproof pandal/gallery/ chairs on both sides of the ground for visitors, ground leveling and barricading, tower for stage and sound box.
District Nazarat Deputy Collector was instructed by the Deputy Commissioner to ensure preparations related to waterproof pandals on both sides of the stage, seating arrangements for VVIPs on the stage, minute-to-minute programs, refreshments and floral arrangements for the cadets involved in the parade, etc.
The Executive Engineer Electrical Work Division, Ranchi was instructed by the Deputy Commissioner to ensure the final preparations regarding the arrangement of the electrical system and soundproof generator.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer, Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Distribution Circle, Gonda to ensure the supply of drinking water, arrangement of VIP toilets, and provision of the temporary toilets at Morhabadi ground for the cadets participating in the parade rehearsal.
The concerned officer was directed by the Deputy Commissioner to make timely preparations for the repair and cleaning of the roads leading to Morhabadi, the medical camp and fire fighting arrangements.
Information related to the tableau and parade to be organized in the Republic Day celebrations was also taken by the Deputy Commissioner from the concerned officer. He told that Deputy Development Commissioner, Ranchi is in the preferred charge of the tableau.
