DC asks officials to get e-KYC done for all the farmers of district by Aug 31

Ranchi: Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha a meeting of the Agriculture Allied Agriculture Task Force was held on Tuesday in which senior officials of the district administration and those from concerned departments participated. In the meeting, the e-KYC of the beneficiary farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was reviewed by the Deputy Commissioner who directed to do e-KYC of 1.75 lakh beneficiary farmers of the district before August 31. 

While reviewing the progress block-wise, the Deputy Commissioner directed the BDOs doing less e-KYC than the beneficiaries to expedite the work and directed them to complete the target of 100 percent by August 31. A special camp will be organized in the district for the e-KYC of the beneficiary farmers of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The Deputy Commissioner directed to organize special camps Panchayat-wise from August 24 to August 31.

He asked the concerned officials to ensure e-KYC by collecting the Aadhaar of the beneficiaries. During the meeting, the registration of farmers under the Jharkhand State Crop Relief Scheme was also reviewed by the Deputy Commissioner. He asked the BDOs of the block performing average in the registration of farmers to expedite the work. He said that farmers should also be registered for this scheme in the camps set up for e-KYC of farmers and farmers should be informed about the scheme in a better way by holding Kisan Goshthi. 

He said that by touching every farmer of the district bring them to Pragya Kendra and get them registered. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner while reviewing the schemes related to animal husbandry, land conservation, cooperative, cow development, fisheries, gardens, directed to ensure the achievement of targets by working on procedural issues. While reviewing the schemes related to animal husbandry, food development, and fisheries, the Deputy Commissioner directed to make available the benefits of the scheme to maximum beneficiaries.

The construction of cattle shed for the selected beneficiaries and timely vaccination of animals was directed by the Deputy Commissioner to the concerned officer. While reviewing the development he directed the beneficiary to publish the information regarding depositing the contribution in the newspaper, he said that if the selected beneficiary did not deposit the contribution on time the beneficiary on the waiting list should be counted.
