Dhanbad, May 9: Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi and DGP D K Pandey alongwith Home Secretary SKG Rahate visited this district to assess the preparations for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which is likely on May 25.
The three senior government officials also held a meeting with the DC, SSP and City SP and other high level district officials to discuss the preprartions in wake of the visit of Mr Modi. The officials also visited the Golf Grounds, IIT-ISM Dhanbad, Balliapur helipad and Sindri plant.
It is expected that Prime Minister may address the public after participating in the convocation ceremony of IIT-ISM Dhanbad at either Barwadda airport or at the Balliapur helipad.
The Chief Secretary said that during his visit to the state Prime Minister Narendra Modi would lay foundation stones and inaugurate many ambitious schemes including foundation for NTPC power plant in Patratu, AIIMS and airport in Deoghar and other projects.
