Latehar: CRPF 214 battalion commandant KD Joshi distributed solar lamps among dozens of needy people and sports material among the youth in E/214 battalion located at Seemakhas in the district. People from villages Rudra, Gopkhand, Seemakhas, Begatoli, Kabri, Mahuadabar, Hendehans, Kotam, Dadichhapar, and Baribandh participated in it.
Commandant KD Joshi said that the needy people are being provided assistance under the Civil Action Programme. He said that CRPF actively participates in social work along with national defense. He said that to organize such programs coordination between villagers and police has to be established.
He said that sports material has been distributed among the youth. So that the player can show his sporting talent well. Many soldiers and villagers including Deputy Commandant Shahid Masoom, GD Nilesh Kumar Neelu, Vinod Kumar Tiwari were present on the spot.
