Ranchi: Two Naxalites including CPI Maoist’s Politburo member Pramod Mishra have been arrested by the police.
The police of Bihar’s Gaya district have arrested both the Naxalites.
Police are interrogating the arrested Naxalites Pramod Mishra and Anil Yadav.
Although it has not been officially confirmed yet.
Significantly, Pramod Mishra is a big name for the Maoist organization.
He remained in jail for years and suddenly disappeared after being released from here.
Now the news of his arrest is coming out.
On May 3, 2023, the NIA raided the residence and relatives of infamous Naxalite leader Pramod Kumar Mishra, who was a member of CPI Maoist in Aurangabad.
The NIA team reached Pramod Mishra’s residence in Kasma and searched it for about two hours.
At the same time, the NIA team investigated and interrogated the relatives living in Rafiganj for about four hours.
Apart from this, NIA also raided the house of Naxalite Anil Yadav in Asurain village of Bankebazar.
In the month of February this year, Pramod Mishra had made Naxalite Misir Besra with a reward of one crore as the Supreme Commander of the Eastern Regional Bureau (ERB) by the CPI Maoist organization.
The states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal, UP and Eastern India come under this.
Its headquarter is located in Saranda.
A meeting of the members of the Central Committee was held in Saranda.
In the same meeting, Misir Besra was elected as the Supreme Commander of the ERB.
After the meeting, top Maoist Pramod Mishra left the area of Saranda.
Earlier it was discussed that Maoists have made Pramod Mishra the Supreme Commander of ERB.
Prior to this, Prashant Bose, a Naxalite with a prize of one crore, was the Supreme Commander of ERB.
Pramod Mishra, the most wanted CPI Maoist top Maoist leader of Jharkhand and Bihar was arrested by STF of Jharkhand Police on the night of 14 March 2009 from Vinod Nagar of Dhanbad. Politburo member Pramod Mishra alias Pramod Pandit alias Ban Bihari alias BBG had taken shelter at his relative’s place in Vinod Nagar.
A special team of STF came from the state headquarters and arrested Pramod Mishra.
But the Dhanbad police was not even aware of this. Pramod Mishra, who once used his activism to defeat the police in Bihar, was now looking after the organizational work in Jharkhand.
Pramod, a resident of Kasma village under Rafiganj police station in Aurangabad district, was earlier the zonal commander of Gaya area.
