Ranchi: The Health Department in the state has gone on alert mode over the rising cases of Coronavirus. Post the interaction with Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta thermal screening and testing have been started in all the districts of the state.
An alert has been sounded in the country over the sub-variant of omicron which is BF-7. Therefore as part of precautionary measures at all the CHCs in the block level of Ranchi district covid testing teams are functioning.
In Jharkhand also a fresh case of Covid has been detected and the person is currently undergoing treatment at the RIMS.
The Health Department has deputed testing teams across the railway stations and bus stands of the capital and also at the Birsa Munda Airport. At these places, Rapid Antigen Test is being performed on the travelers.
Moreover, Covid testing teams have been also deployed at entry points in Ranchi at Silli Bedo and Ormanjhi. The health department has made arrangements for round-the-clock covid testing at the Ranchi Railway station.
