Cooperation of political parties is required in making inclusive and error free voter list: K Ravi Kumar

Ranchi. Chief Electoral Officer, K. Ravi Kumar held a meeting with representatives of recognized political parties operating in the state. During the meeting, he not only took feedback from all the political parties about the efforts being made so far at the departmental level regarding the voter list revision program, but also expected their cooperation in this campaign in future also.

He appealed to everyone that the Election Commission was working very seriously towards making the voter list error-free, but in this important work, cooperation of all common and special people is also needed. He said that all political parties should also help the Commission by running awareness programs at their respective levels to ensure that no eligible voter is left out of his franchise.

On this, the representatives of all the parties said that they are completely satisfied with the activities being carried out under the voter verification program and at present they have no complaints. He also assured the Chief Electoral Officer that he is ready to play as positive a role as possible to ensure that no eligible person is left out from participating in this festival of democracy.

Representatives of some political parties also gave their suggestions, on which subordinates were instructed to take necessary action.
