Ranchi: Second week of December is going on and people are troubled by the cold. But people’s problems are going to increase further.
The temperature is expected to drop by about 3°C in Jharkhand in the coming 2-3 days. According to the report released by the Meteorological Department, the weather remained dry in the state in the last 24 hours. The highest temperature of 29.4 °C was recorded in Chaibasa while the minimum temperature of 8.1 °C was recorded in Ramgarh. A drop of 1°C was recorded in the capital Ranchi. The highest temperature of Ranchi was recorded at 22.2 °C and the minimum temperature was 10.1 °C.
According to the report of the Meteorological Department, after fog in the morning from December 12, the sky will be clear and the weather will be dry. There is no possibility of major change in the minimum temperature in the next 5 days. The minimum temperature in the state is expected to be 8°C in Ramgarh and the maximum temperature is expected to be 27°C in Godda.
The minimum temperature in the capital is expected to be 9°C and the maximum temperature will be 21°C from today. The district administration and Ranchi Municipal Corporation are busy making arrangements to protect against cold.
The corporation is arranging bonfires at 8 main intersections in the city. The district administration is continuously distributing blankets among the needy. Go out in cold weather only wearing thick clothes. Children and the elderly need special care.
