Ranchi/Bokaro: DGP Ajay Kumar Singh held a review meeting with police officers of Bokaro Range at Bokaro Niwas Auditorium on Sunday. In the review meeting, DGP asked the SSPs and SPs of Dhanbad and Bokaro districts to curb organized criminal gangs and illegal mining.
The DGP also discussed the operations being conducted against organized criminal gangs, crime control, law and order maintenance, illegal mining, coal smuggling and Naxalites in the Bokaro range.
Apart from this, the DGP discussed the cases registered under murder, dacoity, robbery, theft, housebreaking, snatching, Arms Act, kidnapping for ransom, rape, POCSO Act and their execution. During the review meeting, the DGP said that Jharkhand has directed to take all possible action against those gangsters who are extorting money while operating their gangs from outside the state or from foreign countries.
Instructions were given to cancel the bail of the criminals released from jail, to punish the criminals by conducting speedy trials and to announce rewards as per rules against the absconding criminals.
