Congress stages Raj Bhawan march over ED questioning of Rahul Gandhi

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee on Thursday staged a march to the Raj Bhawan from the Bapu Vatika of Morhabadi grounds protesting against the questioning of party leader Rahul Gandhi and misuse of central agencies by the BJP government.

Since prohibitory orders were in place in the city therefore the march was stopped in front of the Macchali Ghar after which the Congress leaders sat on a dharna at the spot.

The dharna converted into a meeting. Addressing the gathering JPCC president Rajesh Thakur said that Modi Government has pushed the state to the backwardness in every aspect including social political-economic. He said that the center is left with only one task to use the central agencies to hide its failures to suppress the voice of the democracy.

Thakur said that law is equal for everyone but the notice which has been served to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi that too after the case is closed is an indication as to how far these people are willing to go but the demonstrations being done by the Congress party across the country is a symbol of sentiments of the country. He said that even the officials sitting on top positions in ED CBI and IT should think has to how long they can work under the pressure of the BJP.
