Ranchi: Over the price rise of essential commodities and hike in petroleum products the Congress party on Saturday staged a dharna before the Raj Bhawan. The Congress is running the Mahangai Mukt Bharat campaign as part of which the dharna was staged before the Raj Bhawan. Through this, the Congress party attacked the Centre led by Narendra Modi.
Incharge of party Affairs in Jharkhand Avinash Pandey, JPCC chief Rajesh Thakur and other leaders were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion the party leaders held the Narendra Modi government responsible for the increasing price rise and inflation.
The leaders alleged that BJP and their ministers have nothing to do with the welfare of the people. Cabinet Ministers of the Hemant Soren government were also present on the occasion.
