Ranchi: Jharkhand Congress Chief and Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon has claimed that the Congress led alliance will come into power in Assam.
Dr Oraon who returned to the state capital after addressing election rallies in 15 assembly segments of the Barak Valley of Assam said that he got numerous opportunities to address election meetings in constituencies which fall under the tea gardens of Silchar district and Barak Valley.
He said that during addressing those meetings he realised that this time the Congress led alliance was in a good position and was all set to form the next government in the state.
He said that in the tea garden areas of Assam tribal from Jharkhand Bihar Odisha and West Bengal live and for five years these people have been cheated by the BJP. He said that when Congress will come into power in Assam their due rights would be given to them and due to this reason a wave was blowing in favour of the Congress party in the tea garden areas of Assam.
Dr Oraon said that even he could witnessed anger among the people of Assam over the manner in which BJP has mislead them on the issue of CAA.
