Ranchi: At a meeting held on Thursday at the BJP state office under the chairmanship of former Leader of Opposition and State Convenor of the Constitution Gaurav Abhiyan, Amar Kumar Bauri, the state and district teams of the campaign discussed future action plans. District convenors and co-convenors from all organisational districts participated in the meeting. Regional Organisation Secretary Nagendra Tripathi, State Organisation Secretary Karmveer Singh, and other co-convenors Rakesh Bhaskar, Nand Ji Prasad, and Amardeep Yadav were also present.
The meeting provided guidance on upcoming activities, including various programmes and discussions at the district and block levels, by the regional and state organisation secretaries.
After the meeting, speaking to the media, Amar Kumar Bauri said that from January 11 to 25, the BJP would conduct the Constitution Gaurav Abhiyan across the country. Due to the party’s membership campaign in Jharkhand, the campaign will be held from January 15 to 25.
Bauri launched a strong attack on the Congress, stating that the party had lost the moral right to speak about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution. He criticized the Congress for attempting to defeat Ambedkar in elections and highlighted the party’s history of neglect towards the Dalit community.
He emphasised that while the Congress has built large monuments for its family members, it failed to provide even two yards of land for Dr. Ambedkar in Delhi. Bauri also pointed out that despite the immense contributions of Dr. Ambedkar, the Congress did not display his portrait in Parliament while honoring leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi with the Bharat Ratna.
