Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren met with German Ambassador Philip Ackermann and the Economy Counsellor at the Chief Minister’s official residence on Wednesday. The discussion centered around various developmental aspects, especially exploring potential cooperation opportunities between Jharkhand and Germany.
Ambassador Ackermann pointed out the similarities between Germany and Jharkhand in coal mining and production sectors and expressed keen interest in expanding collaboration in coal-based industries. The Chief Minister highlighted Jharkhand’s industrial investment potential and mentioned that the state government is actively engaging with industrial groups both domestically and internationally, achieving encouraging results.
Chief Minister Soren assured complete support for German investors looking to invest in India. In response, Ambassador Ackermann invited the Chief Minister to visit Germany.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar.
