CM showers gifts on Dumka, says Continuous monitoring is necessary for schemes to be completed on time

Dumka: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said continuous monitoring is necessary for schemes to be completed on time. While addressing the inauguration ceremony of the multipurpose convention center equipped with modern facilities in Dumka he said that for the execution of the Government’s schemes on the ground implementation of plans should be fast and they should be completed on time. He himself is going to the districts and meeting with the headquarters and district officials to get information about the ground reality of the schemes.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated 110 schemes – laid foundation stones, distributed assets among the beneficiaries and gave appointment letters to the candidates. The Chief Minister said that district-level plans should be reviewed in the districts as this will definitely bring better results.

He said that it is the responsibility of the senior officer sitting at the headquarters to regularly monitor the district-level schemes. If all the officers will fulfill their responsibilities honestly then we will be able to give a better and orderly system which will benefit the state and the people living here he said. 

He said that the government has started a new practice in the state to solve the problems of the people by organizing camps at the panchayat level. The success of the scheme can be gauged from the fact that lakhs of people were given the benefits of government schemes at their doorsteps he claimed.

The Chief Minister said that Dumka is the sub-capital of Jharkhand along with being the focal point of the Santhal Pargana division. This district is moving forward by creating its own identity in many fields. In this episode, the convention center is another big gift for here he said adding this center is like a complete package in a sense, where many programs including cultural, seminars, and conferences can be organized and is equipped with modern facilities and a multi-purpose center, where many facilities are available under one roof.

The arrangement of this center should be maintained, special attention will be needed for this he pointed out. Hemant Soren said that it has been seen many times that even for programs in small towns and rural areas, one has to approach big hotels or big cities but due to the presence of the Convention Center now the programs here will be organized in this city and district, in which more and more people actually associated with the program will get a chance to participate.

Many officials of the district including MP Vijay Hansda, MLAs Nalin Soren and Basant Soren, Zilla Parishad President, Deputy Inspector General of Police Sudarshan Prasad Mandal, Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla and Superintendent of Police Amber Lakda were present on the occasion.
