CM participates in Baha Puja at his ancestral village in Nemra

Ramgarh: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday participated in the Baha Puja at his ancestral village in Nemra which is located in Gola block of this district. Clad in traditional attire the Chief Minister reached the Sarna Sthal along with his other family members and performed the rituals.

He was welcomed by the people through traditional dhol and Nagadas. After performing the ritual he came to his home where again he performed the rituals.

Every year the Chief Minister makes a point of reaching his ancestral village where he performs the puja. To participate in the Puja his mother Rupi Soren, wife Kalpana Soren and sister-in-law and Jama MLA Sita Soren had also reached the village.

The Chief Minister also interacted with the locals during which he got to know about their problems and assured that the area will be also developed properly. In wake of the visit of the Chief Minister Ramgarh DC Madhavi Mishra and SP Piyush Pandey were present in the village to look after the security arrangements. 

Jawans were deputed all the way along the village from Purabdih forest as the Chief Minister had reached his village through the road route.
