Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the Transport Department to resume regular operation and stops of trains in the state to facilitate the movement of passengers and provide an impetus to economic activities.
Earlier, with the aim of preventing and reducing the spread of infection during Covid-19, the State Government had requested the Railway Ministry to either stop the operation or reduce the stops of some trains.
With an improvement in the situation, the Chief Minister has given instructions to the Departmental Secretary to resume the regular stoppages of all such trains, in order to provide proper facilities to the passengers coming from and going to
Jharkhand.
