CM Champai Soren announced 730 Days Maternity leave to Women Employees

Ranchi:  There is an atmosphere of joy among the women employees due to the decision of the State Council of Ministers to give 730 days of maternity leave to the women employees to take care of their minor children. In this connection, hundreds of women employees of Women Child Development and Social Security Department reached the Chief Minister’s residence with drums and Abir-Gulal and expressed their gratitude by welcoming and congratulating Chief Minister Champai Soren.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that his government is committed to women empowerment. He said that it is necessary for women to be empowered to build a strong family, society, state and country. This is the reason why his government has started many schemes to make women self-reliant and self-reliant.

In this context, in the interest of women employees serving the state, it has been decided to give them two years leave during their service period to take care of their children. This will definitely boost the morale of women workers and they will become partners in the development of the state by discharging their responsibilities with dedication.

Women employees of the Women, Child Development and Social Security Department thanked the Chief Minister for the fact that the government is continuously taking decisions in the interest of women officers and employees. The government’s attitude towards our demands has always been seen as positive. This government has fulfilled the demand of increasing the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and assistants along with providing them other benefits and facilities. We all assure you that we have been working with full devotion to improve the state and will continue to do so in future too.

On this occasion, Assistant Director of Women Child Development and Social Security Department Kanchan Singh, District Social Welfare Officer Latehar Alka Hembram and Child Development Project Officer Neelisha Kumari, women officers and personnel of the department, women supervisors and assistants and servants from all over the state were present.
