Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has assured all possible help to the family members of mob lynching victim Mubarak Khan.
Widow of Mubarak Khan, Tabassum Khatoon and her family members met the Chief Minister at the Vidhansabha here and requested for compensation, job and education arrangements of her children.
She said that on March 14 her husband was lynched in Sirka village after he was accused by the villagers of tyre theft. He was tied with an electricity pole and was beaten to death. She said that following the death of her husband the family has no means of earning as she has got two small children to look after and urged the Chief Minister to provide necessary government help.
Those present on the occasion included Drinking Water Minister Mithlesh Thakur, Cabinet Minister Hafijul Hassan and many MLAs.
