Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren asked the officials to work out plans so that the Project Building and other government departments can be brought inside one campus.

The Chief Minister had a visit to the police headquarters premises where he had an informal interaction with the officials. He said that apart from bringing the buildings in one campus there was also a need to have a main and a connecting gate for all the buildings.

He also laid the stress to make common parking. He asked the officials to explore all the options and make a detailed plan so that in a planned manner work can be started in this regard.

The Chief Minister also went around from the HEC Gol Chakkar to police headquarters during which he instructed the officials to make sure that the street light on both sides of the road function properly and instructed them to make sure that in the entire premises CCTV cameras are installed.

He said that hoardings that have been put up across the roads should be removed and a particular spot should be identified where these hoardings can be put up. He said that there was a need to accord special importance to cleanliness. The officials present said that if needed then the road would be further expanded.

Hemant also visited the Nehru Park situated in the HEC premises and directed the officials to undertake its beautification work. He said that due to lack of maintenance the park’s condition had become poor and asked to remove the weed and bushes which had covered the area so that the park could be used by the common people.
