Chief Secretary will review the cases pending for four years

Ranchi : Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh will review the cases pending for four years on Tuesday, October 10. The Chief Secretary’s office has written a letter to the Home Secretary and DGP regarding this. 

It has been said in the letter that the Chief Secretary will review the cases pending for four years and more through video conferencing with the Zonal IG, Range DIG, SSP, and SP of all the districts. Earlier, on October 5, ADG Abhiyan had reviewed four pending cases with the SSP and SP of the district.

A guidance and monitoring committee has been formed for the execution of long pending cases. ADG Operations Sanjay Anand Lathkar and Vice Chairman, IG and CID Aseem Vikrant Minz have been made the chairman of this committee. Whereas DIGs of all ranges are its members. Execution of old pending criminal cases has accelerated. The state police department is busy completing this work.
