Chief Minister participates in the ‘553rd Prakash Utsav’ of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, prays for happiness & prosperity

Ranchi: On the 553rd Prakash Utsav of Gurunanak Dev Ji Maharaj Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday participated in the main function organized at Gurunanak School located at PP Compound of the state capital.

Speaking on the occasion he said that the day is historic and holy as this day is also celebrated as Guru Purnima. I too have got a chance to pay obeisance at the establishment site of Guru Granth Sahib in this complex today. By the way, I have come here many times on this occasion.

The Chief Minister said that the Sikh community has stood firmly among the poor and needy people during the global pandemic Corona and other dire circumstances and people always get their support. He said that the state government has always stood with the Sikh community.

The Chief Minister paid his obeisance on Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti. He also extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the 553rd Prakash Parv. On the occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the PCC path connecting Guru Nanak School to Kadru Road.

On this occasion, Gurdwara Guru Singh Sabha President Gurmeet Singh, Secretary Gagandeep Singh Sethi, Jyoti Singh Matharu, Paramjit Singh Tinku, and Ranjit Singh Happy. Hundreds of Sikh community devotees including Harvinder Veer Singh, Rishi Chhabra, Harpreet Jaggi, Ranveer Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Trilochan Singh, Jaspreet Nagi, Harvinder Vedi, Shri Hargobind Singh were present.
