Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid tribute to martyr CRPF jawan constable Sushant Kumar Khuntia

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid tribute to CRPF jawan constable Sushant Kumar Khuntia, who was martyred in the Maoist attack, by placing a wreath on the mortal remains.

The Chief Minister prayed to God to give peace to the soul of the martyr and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this hour of grief.

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan Constable Sushant Kumar Khuntia was seriously injured in an encounter between police and Naxalites in the forest under Tonto police station area of West Singhbhum district, he was airlifted for better medical treatment.

He was airlifted and admitted to Medica Hospital in Ranchi, where he died during treatment.

Martyr Jawan Sushant Kumar Khuntia was a resident of Keonjhar district of Odisha.

State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department Avinash Kumar, DGP Ajay Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey and other senior officers of the police department paid tribute to martyr jawan constable Sushant Kumar Khuntia.
