Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated Free Residential Coaching for Tribal Students

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the Free Residential Coaching Center for Tribal Students at Padma Shree Dr. Ram Dayal Munda Tribal Research Center in Ranchi on Thursday.

He said, Today is the era of competition.

With the passage of time many changes are taking place in society.

The tribal community needs to move forward in this.

You have to fight for this.

Many challenges have to be overcome.

Have to work hard.

New routes have to be made.

You have to maintain your momentum, only then, will you move ahead.

I have full faith that you will come out of all these circumstances and reach the destination of success.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the free residential coaching program for the preparation of various competitive examinations for the youth and women of the highly sensitive tribal community (PVTG) at the Dr. Ramdayal Munda Tribal Welfare Research Institute, Morhabadi, Ranchi in a traditional way by beating drums.

The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is the first state in the country to have started such a program to bring PVTGs at par with other sections of the society.

Many more such schemes will come in the future and its positive results will also be seen.

The Chief Minister said that you can survive only on the free ration of the government.

You can neither study nor create employment on the basis of this ratio.

You can never move forward through free ration.

In such a situation, I believe that the responsibility of the government is not only to fill free ration to the people, but it needs to be implemented on the ground along with making a better policy on all sensitive subjects.

With this thinking, our government is moving forward and working to give a new direction to the state.

The Chief Minister said that today the number of tribals, especially those belonging to highly sensitive tribal groups, is continuously decreasing.

Many such tribal groups are on the verge of extinction. If we are not careful, then their existence may end in the coming days.

In such a situation, our government is running many schemes for the development of tribals.

Through these schemes, the tribal communities are being empowered and strengthened.

The Chief Minister said that today the children of tribals, dalits and minorities are being sent abroad for higher education by the government.

Schools of Excellence have been opened to improve the quality of education.

Girls are being motivated towards studies through Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana.

On the other hand, under the Phulo-Jhano Aashirwad Yojana, women selling bones and liquor are being linked to a respectable livelihood.

Our government has started many such schemes, which are working to change the condition and direction of Jharkhand.

This cycle will continue till our state and our people become prosperous and happy.

The Chief Minister said that the dreams people had seen after the formation of a separate state have come true in reality.

Need to brainstorm on this. Especially in tribal-dominated states, how far we have progressed in the development of tribals, it will also have to be considered.

But I can say that the work which was not done in the last two decades, while dealing with the pandemic like Corona, our government has undertaken many such activities in a short span of time, which are proving to be milestones in the development of the state.

A total of 373 applications were received for free residential coaching for boys and girls of PVTG community.

In this, 156 applicants have been finally selected. Selected applicants include 63 girls and 93 boys.

In this, there are 33 youths from Asur community, 3 from Birhor community, 27 from Birjia community, 22 from Korva community, 9 from Parahaiya community, 1 from Sabar community, 38 from Mal Paharia community, 23 from Sauria Paharia.

Apart from this, teachers are required for teaching.
