Chief Minister has zero tolerance against corruption

Ranchi: Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren has approved the proposal to provide an investigation report by registering a preliminary inquiry (PE) against the suspended engineer chief, Road Construction Department, Jharkhand Rash Behari Singh. Earlier an IR complaint had been filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau in the light of the complaint received against Rash Behari Singh.

In the light of finding 199 percent more money than the income against the accused by the verifier of No.-06/17, PE. The proposal to communicate the no-objection to the Cabinet Secretariat and Monitoring Department (Monitoring), Jharkhand, Ranchi had been approved at the point of registration.

In the past also the Chief Minister has taken strict steps against corruption. The Chief Minister had given permission to register an FIR against Anil Kumar Singh, the then Circle Officer, Hehal, Ranchi in the disproportionate assets case. On the other hand, by the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes Department, Jharkhand, against the FIR accused Manoj Kumar, Assistant, District Welfare Office, Palamu and Subhash Kumar, District Welfare Officer, Palamu of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Palamu police station case number 10/2021.

The sanction for prosecution has been given under Section 7 (a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Amendment Act, 2018). Also Arvind Kumar, the then Chairman, Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission, R N Singh, Member (Engineering), Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission and Shri Gaurav Budhia, Proprietor, M/s Bihar Foundry and Casting Ltd.
