CCL showcases its contribution towards developing a self-reliant India

Ranchi: Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitaraman and Chief Minister, Gujarat Bhupendrabhai Patel inaugurated a four-day long exhibition on “Nation Building and CPSEs (9- 12th June)” in Gandhinagar,
Gujarat where Central Coalfields Limited(CCL) has put up its stall exhibiting its contribution towards developing a self-reliant India.

About 75 PSUs are participating in this mega exhibition. Director (Pers/ IR), CIL Vinay Ranjan, ED(CIL) B Sairam and senior officials were present during the inaugural function. Vinay Ranjan also attended CEOs Roundtable Conference- Role of CPSEs for a self-reliant India and he visited CCL Stall. He applauded the work carried out by CCL for its stakeholders.

Exhibition “Nation Building & CPSEs is organized by the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance, Government of India and Standing Conferences of Public Enterprises with support from participating CPSEs. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the global history of its people, culture and achievements. Public Sector Enterprises(PSEs) have played a critical role in the social-economic development of the country since their inception by supplementing the growth of the Indian economy through transformational changes.

CCL, a Jharkhand-based subsidiary of Coal India, has put up its stall showing its contribution major CSR initiatives like operations of Mega Sports Complex, Khelgoan, Ranchi, CCL Ke Lall and CCL Ki Laadli, upgradation of 728 Aanganbadi centres in six districts of Jharkhand into model Aaganbadi centres etc.

GM (CSR) BK Ladi, Chief Manager (Mining) KK Jha, HOD (PR) Anupam Kr Rana, Deputy Manager (CD) Nikhil Kumar and others were present to grace the occasion. The exhibition will be opened for public from 10th June.
