CCL pays tribute to Birsa Munda on his 150th birth anniversary

Ranchi: On the occasion of Tribal Pride Year 2025 and the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, the CCL family paid homage to the legendary tribal leader at the company’s headquarters. Officers, employees, trade union representatives, and social dignitaries participated in the solemn ceremony.

The program began with floral tributes and offerings at Birsa Munda’s statue. CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, CVO Pankaj Kumar, senior officials of CCL, SC-ST Council Chairman Brijkishore Ram, trade union members, departmental heads, and general managers were present.

Remembering “Dharti Aba” Birsa Munda as a symbol of Jharkhand’s pride, tribal identity, and a great freedom fighter who led the Ulgulan movement, the CCL family paid heartfelt respects. His struggle, unmatched leadership, and commitment to protecting land, water, and forests were hailed as timeless inspiration not only for Jharkhand but for the entire country.

Participants raised slogans of “Birsa Munda Amar Rahein” and pledged to carry forward his vision and ideals. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and attendees
