Ranchi: Following the order of the High Court, the CBI team has reached Sahibganj to investigate several cases related to illegal mining.
After investigation, the CBI team will submit its report to the court. Judge Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, while hearing Vijay Hansda’s petition, said, in the case of illegal mining at Sahibganj’s Lemon Mountain, the location of the complainant was shown in Bengaluru and Karnataka.
The police only investigated the allegations of the AC-ST Act. There are indications that the police is trying to save the accused in this case. It may be noted that on the basis of the complaint made by Vijay Hansda to the police, the police had registered an FIR against Pankaj Mishra and others for illegal mining. On this basis, has registered a fresh ECIR against Pankaj Mishra and others by ED.
The matter was heard in the court of High Court Judge Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi. Advocate Sudhanshu Shekhar argued before the court on behalf of petitioner Vijay Hansda. Now investigation has started in this matter.
